# bad-request

> The request can't be handled, for example because of the HTTP method.

| `4xx` | The request cannot be handled |

## Where you see it

**Your server**, on any SDK API path.

## What it means

A client error that has no code of its own, such as `405` for a method the path doesn't take.

`status` is the actual HTTP status.

## What to do
