# charger-offline

> The charger has to be online to prove a claim by plugging in.

## Where you see it

Only inside the hosted flow, which handles it. You don't need to handle it in your app or on your server.

## What it means

To prove a claim by plugging a car in and out, Plugchoice has to see the charger's status change, so the charger must be online.

This is about claims only, not about a charger's `connection_status`.

## What to do

Nothing.
