# server-error

> Something went wrong on Plugchoice's side.

## Where you see it

**Your server**, **your app's result**, or **inside the hosted flow**: anywhere.

## What it means

An unexpected error on Plugchoice's side.

`status` is `500`, or another `5xx` status when one applies.

## What to do

* Retry after a short wait, with backoff.
* Creating a client session again is safe: the unused one expires by itself.
* If it keeps happening, email [support@plugchoice.com](mailto:support@plugchoice.com) with the time and the request.
