# two-factor-not-needed

> Checking a two-factor code while the link session isn't waiting for one.

## Where you see it

Only inside the hosted flow, which handles it. You don't need to handle it in your app or on your server.

## What it means

The hosted flow asks for a two-factor code only when the account has two-factor authentication, right after the sign-in code.

## What to do

Nothing.
