# vendor-error

> Zaptec's cloud refused the request or answered something unexpected.

## Where you see it

Only inside the hosted flow, which handles it. You don't need to handle it in your app or on your server.

## What it means

Zaptec's cloud refused the request, or answered something Plugchoice couldn't read.

Your user sees "Something went wrong" and can try again, or set the charger up by hand.

## What to do

Nothing. If it keeps happening, the charger can still be added by hand: see [Other OCPP chargers](/sdk/chargers/other).
